Belonging Is the Heart of Our Practice

Belonging Is the Heart of Our Practice

At Midé Integrative Therapies, we honor and celebrate the full spectrum of human experience. We commit to creating a space where every body, every background, every identity—and every story—is met with openness, respect, and care.

We believe that true wellness flourishes when people feel seen, valued, and safe to simply be. We recognise that barriers—whether visible or invisible—can limit someone’s access to rest, healing, and belonging. Therefore, we actively work to dismantle those barriers, both within our walls and in the world beyond.

We hold ourselves accountable to this commitment by engaging in ongoing trainings, self-reflection, and continued learning, and by leaning into our own lived experiences with humility and curiosity. This is not a box to check, but a lifelong practice — one of listening, growth, and genuine connection.

We invite you to join us in this promise: to listen, to learn, and to uplift one another. Every voice matters. Every presence enriches our community. Together, we move toward equity—not as a destination, but as a lived practice rooted in kindness, integrity, and shared humanity.

Who might be a good fit for my needs?

  • Therapist

I'm a therapist who believes that change is possible-and that you don't have to go through it alone.

With over 13 years of experience in the substance use field and the last 3 years in mental health, I've had the honor of walking alongside adults of all ages as they navigate some of life's most difficult challenges. Whether you're working through addiction, mental health concerns, or just feeling stuck, my role is to meet you exactly where you are.

I use a blend of Eye Movement an Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy with Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing-focusing on your story and goals. My approach is grounded in respect, empathy, and the belief that deciding to seek out therapy is a powerful and courageous step.

I believe that therapy is about connection. It's my passion to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can have real conversations, explore what's working (and what's not), and move toward the life you want to live. Together, we'll identify and shift unhelpful coping patterns, and build self-compassionate, sustainable ways of being.

As someone who has also turned to therapy during difficult seasons in life, I understand the vulnerability it takes to ask for help. That's why I focus on building a strong, genuine therapeutic relationship-because feeling seen and supported is where healing begins.

If you're ready to do something different, I'm here to walk that path with you.

If you're ready for something to shift, I'd be honored to walk that journey with you.

  • Intern Therapist

I am a counseling intern with a passion for connecting with people and walking alongside them on their journeys to wellness. When I sit with clients, my hope is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.

In our time together, we will focus on uncovering the tools and strengths within you to foster healing and growth. My approach is grounded in Person-Centered, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative techniques, which allow us to navigate life's complexities while honoring your unique experiences.  I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and pair with this other somatic modalities such as Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapies (MBCT) for a whole bodied support in our work together. I believe in nurturing the whole person-mind, body, and spirit-to help you discover a deeper sense of balance and connection in your life.

As a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Gonzaga University, I am constantly growing both personally and professionally. I strive to create an inclusive, judgment-free environment where individuals feel supported and heard. What drives me most is the opportunity to build authentic relationships with each client, embracing their individuality and supporting their path to healing.

  • Therapist

As a therapist, my deepest intention is to meet you exactly where you are — honoring the fullness of your story, your identities, and the wisdom already living within you. I work from a whole-person lens, respecting the ways mind, body, identity, and lived experience all shape the healing process.

I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am actively pursuing full EMDR certification. I also integrate ego state and parts work — sometimes bringing in tarot imagery as a creative, symbolic way to access internal wisdom and help different parts of you feel seen, understood, and supported. My clinical approach blends cognitive behavioral therapies, mindfulness-based modalities, emotion focused techniques, and somatic practices to help you develop clarity, containment, and greater internal alignment. Additionally, I incorporate psychodynamic and person-centered frameworks to support deeper insight, meaning-making, and authentic self-expression.

My work is identity-focused and rooted in cultural humility. I hold a certification in Sexual and Gender Minority Mental Health, allowing me to offer affirming, specialized care for LGBTQ+, gender-expansive, and polyamorous individuals. Every aspect of your identity is welcomed and honored in our work together.

As a certified yoga teacher, I bring mind-body integration into sessions when helpful — slowing down, reconnecting to breath, and creating space for the parts of you that may struggle to find words but still deserve care and attention.

Healing is never linear, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we will explore the complexities of your internal landscape, strengthen your relationship with your own inner resources, and cultivate the resilience needed for meaningful change. My aim is to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and respect as you move toward a life that feels more grounded, aligned, and whole.

  • I am a therapist and an endlessly curious soul. I journey with people compelled to understand themselves and the world around them with more clarity, even when it breaks their heart. We will learn how to slowly mend the pieces back together in a way that feels whole and authentic to you.

I specialize in challenging the status quo, disentangling the complicated, and aiding people in unveiling what kind of life they actually would love living, rather than just living the life they thought they should love. I’m committed to helping you discover your own depth which both calls and repels you.

I am fully certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as a Consultant In Training through EMDRIA. I integrate EMDR with other somatic modalities such as Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapies (MBCT), Somatic Experiencing, Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and am a MDMA Assisted Therapy Trainee with MAPS.

In our work together we often find the space for your healing. We invite gratitude and grief which leads to a change within your heart, mind, body and spirit. There’s no other word for what this change feels like. It’s completely and totally life altering, in the most ordinary way. None of this is drastic, but you can taste the difference. It’s been my experience, that the ending is often only the beginning in this wild adventure of knowing yourself.

  • Kristina is the heart of what we do here at Midé and often she is the first person you connect with on our team. She has a background in counseling although life has led her into a different role. She does such a wonderful job connecting and supporting the needs of clients no matter where they are in their process of therapeutic journey. We couldn’t do it without her wisdom and organization!
